James A. McDaniel

Jim McDaniel serves as director of Administrative Services for the National Catholic Educational Association in Washington, D.C. He has held this position since 1989. Prior to joining NCEA, Mr. McDaniel was a cannon and missile field artilleryman in the United States Army. Military education assignments included four years with the Army Military Personnel Center serving as the Chief of the Officer Education Management Branch. Mr. McDaniel completed service tours in Asia, Europe and the United States.
Mr. McDaniel received his bachelor's degree in agronomy from Texas A&M University and a master's degree in personnel management from Central Michigan University.
Established in 1904, the NCEA is the largest private professional education organization in the world, representing 200,000 Catholic educators serving 7.6 million students in Catholic elementary and secondary schools, in religious education programs, in seminaries and in colleges and universities.
