Executive Vice President
Brother Robert Bimonte is the executive vice president of the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) where he previously served as the Executive Director of the NCEA Elementary Schools Department. Before coming to NCEA, he was the Secretary of Catholic Education in the Diocese of Buffalo; overseeing both Catholic Schools and religious education. He has also worked as a consultant and facilitator for schools, dioceses, and religious communities throughout the country.
Brother Bimonte has been an administrator on both the elementary and high school levels and has taught at all grade levels from preschool to graduate school. He holds graduate degrees in education, psychology, and theology.
Brother Bimonte has conducted numerous retreats and workshops on a wide variety of topics, including collaborative learning, the power of myth, transformational leadership, and brain-compatible learning. His work in brain-compatible learning has been recognized by the Hewlett/Packard Foundation.
Established in 1904, the NCEA is the largest private professional education organization in the world, representing 200,000 Catholic educators serving 7.6 million students in Catholic elementary and secondary schools, in religious education programs, in seminaries, and in colleges and universities.
