Diana Dudoit Raiche, Executive Director of the Department of Religious Education at the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA), is a frequent presenter for catechetical and liturgical conferences, diocesan workshops, and parish adult enrichment events. Her experience in the educational ministry of the church includes teaching in Catholic schools, parish religious education programs, diocesan adult formation programs, and universities. She has served as a parish director of catechetical ministry, director of the catechumenate, chairperson of a diocesan education commission, and team member for institutes on the catechumenate for adults and children with the North American Forum on the Catechumenate. She earned the MA in Practical Theology from the University of San Diego and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Religious Education/Catechetics at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.
 
As the former Assistant Executive Director of the department, she guided the revision of NCEA Assessment of Catechesis/Religious Education (NCEA ACRE), an assessment instrument for students. Her articles on assessment in religious education appear in Momentum: The Official Journal of the NCEA, Catechist, The Bishops Catechetical Bulletin, and The North American Forum on the Catechumenate Newsletter. Other publications related to Christian initiation appear in Catechumenate: A Journal of Christian Initiation, Christian Initiation, The Catechist Connection, Momentum: The Official Journal of the NCEA, and a book review in The Living Light. Book essays include “Planning and Improving Parish Catechesis” in Empowering Catechetical Leaders, and “Focus on Children” in The Baptismal Catechumenate: An Inspiration for Catechesis. She has also authored Confirmation: Anointed and Sealed with the Spirit – A Journal for Younger Candidates, a sacramental resource published by Living the Good News, and Children Celebrate! Director’s Guide for Liturgy of the Word with Children published by Pflaum.
