Charles M. Russell comes to the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) from the Archdiocese of Baltimore, where he spent the last two years as the director of secondary education and tuition scholarships. During his time there he worked closely with high schools in the areas of enrollment management, financial aid, and program implementation. Additionally, Mr. Russell has served as a principal and vice principal for K-8 schools within the Archdiocese of Washington.
He holds degrees in educational leadership and administration from the George Washington University and St. John’s University. Mr. Russell lives in Bethesda, Maryland, with his wife Katie and his three children; Kelly, Mike, and Riley.
Established in 1904, the NCEA is the largest private professional education organization in the world, representing 200,000 Catholic educators serving 7.6 million students in Catholic elementary and secondary schools, in religious education programs, in seminaries, and in colleges and universities.
