This 16-member board, advisory to the pastor and principal, has entrusted a fortune in time and talent in the leadership bank of St. Andrew’s School. In an environment characterized by mutual respect, cooperation, and communication, this group tackles every challenge – long-range planning, policy-development, finance, marketing, public relations, development, evaluation and more – with confidence and zeal.
The group’s careful approach to long-range planning has resulted in new funding, new construction, successful marketing, careful review and revision of policy and bylaws, and regular self-evaluation.
Among many noteworthy accomplishments, the board has secured tuition assistance to help teachers advance their education – a boon to the academic quality of the school and an effective response to the national crisis of teacher recruitment and retention.
A model of collaboration with administration, parents, and parish organizations, St. Andrew’s School Advisory Board keeps members, veteran and new, on the cutting edge of success by participating in programs of board training and membership in NABCCCE.
