The Galveston-Houston Diocese will be hosting special events in the evening for all NCEA 2013 Convention & Expo attendees. You will be able, with a click of your computer, to reserve your spot at one or more of these enjoyable and fun-filled events. Registration and payment information will be available soon.

Architectural Tour
Wednesday, April 3
Time: 4:30 p.m.
Cost: $40 per person
Join architectural historian and local architect Stephen Fox as he tells the story of the commercial and residential architecture that Houston is famous for developing. Dinner is on your own at one of the three famous Goode Company restaurants featuring Texas barbecue, Tex-Mex or Gulf Coast seafood. The restaurants are located in the Upper Kirby District.

Astros Game

Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart

This evening at the beautiful new co-cathedral will feature a tour of the cathedral with a special focus on its history , vespers, and a concert under the direction of a renowned musician.

Funeral Museum

Tour the museum and learn about the history and rituals surrounding the funeral rite. The museum also houses a large collection of Vatican artifacts.

Galveston Trip

Cost: $85 (includes bus transportation and dinner) per person
Visit historic Galveston Island and learn about the early beginnings of the Galveston/ Houston Diocese. Tours include some of the original churches, time shopping on the Strand, a walk on the beach, and dinner on your own at the newly renovated Pleasure Pier.
