Children's Health Insurance Matters
Catholic schools have an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of a nationwide effort to enroll uninsured children in free and low-cost health insurance.
In an effort to spread the word about free and low-cost health insurance, the National Catholic Educational Association has joined with Catholic Charities USA and seven national Catholic health care organizations to promote Children's Health Matters - an advocacy and enrollment project that helps families get the health care their children deserve.
Together, Catholic hospitals, Catholic Charities agencies, and Catholic schools can promote children's health insurance outreach. For more information, please contact Anne Michel at Children's Health Matters, (703) 549-1390 ext. 158 or visit www.childrenshealthmatters.org.
Children's Health Matters is an outreach program to facilitate enrollment in Medicaid and other health insurance programs and to ensure access to quality health care.
It is sponsored by Ascension Health; Bon Secours Health System, Inc.; Carondelet Health System; Catholic Charities USA; The Catholic Health Association of the United States; Catholic Health East; Catholic Health Initiatives; and Sister of Mercy Health System - St. Louis.
