The Distinguished Pastor Award is presented to honor pastors who have given outstanding support to Catholic elementary education.

Send nomination forms to the superintendent of Catholic schools for the diocese in which the parish is located. The nomination form must be completed by the principal/school administrator nominating the pastor.

This award was established by the 2007 Department of Elementary Schools Executive Committee (DESEC) to acknowledge the outstanding contributions and leadership of pastors. Without their support, Catholic schools could not continue.
