2005 Outstanding Board Award

This parish school board created a 5-year strategic plan. Many objectives have been met through the work of strong committees. The board initiated a state-of-the-art science lab and worked to reduce construction debt through fundraising activities. The Marketing Committee, composed of marketing professionals, has developed an annual advertising and marketing campaign—a challenge for this parish school in an area of great wealth with many top-grade preparatory schools.

The Spirituality Committee has initiated a Family Support Program to coordinate the resources of the community to support families in times of crisis and need. This board is committed to expanding its committees to tap a wider range of talent and commitment from parents and parishioners, nurturing both the school and the overall parish community.
