The 12-member advisory board of this early childhood 3 through 8 school has been in existence 18 years. Its top five characteristics are:
- Diverse professional skills and backgrounds.
- Committees work autonomously toward the mission and vision of the school.
- Enthusiasm and dedication consistently high.
- Total focus on comprehensive development.
- Organizational chart is a man for success.
Its outstanding achievements this year have included:
- Development and production of a marketing DVD.
- Development of a comprehensive alumni list, compiled in Access for maximum usability.
- Development and maintenance of a progressive and informative Web site.
- Design of a new logo.
- Enhancement of the “Pillar Society,” a membership organization focused on building the school’s endowment fund for a long-term tuition assistance for the school.
- Development of a choir CD.
