Recent Activities
  • Formation Institute June 8-15, 2007
    The 8th Institute for the Preparation of Seminary Formation Staff and Advisors was held June 8-15, 2007, at St. Patrick Seminary in Menlo Park, California. A capacity crowd enjoyed presentations on a variety of topics related to the four pillars of formation (academic, human, pastoral and spiritual), as well as the context of formation, sexuality and celibacy and psychological testing. 

  • Seminary Convocation 2008
    The 2008 Seminary Convocation was held in conjunction with the NCEA Convention and Exposition, March 25-27, 2008 in Indianapolis. The focus of the convocation was the implementation of the precepts of the Fifth Program of Priestly Formation concerning ongoing formation and the priest as a life-long learner. Schedule of speakers and events.
  • Pre-Convocation CDLN Consultation: A Workshop on Registration and Scheduling Issues for Academic Deans and Registrars
    This consultation is for those institutions working with the Catholic Distance Learning Network (http://www.catholicdistance.org/). It was held March 24-25 at the Westin Hotel, Indianapolis.
  • Upcoming Activities

    •  Formation Institute 2009
      The 9th Institute for the Preparation of Seminary Formation Staff and Advisors will be held June 5-12, 2009 at St. Patrick Seminary in Menlo Park, California. Check back for more information as it becomes available. Registration forms will be mailed to all seminaries and religious houses of formation in Fall 2008, and a registration form will be available at that time for down-loading from this page.
