If you are working in, or interested in, the welfare of Catholic education you are welcome to register and attend the 2009 NCEA Convention, Expo and NPCD Convocation. The purpose of the convention is to meet the educational and spiritual needs of all Catholic educators. The educational sessions and exposition are open to all professional educators, as well as volunteers in religious education programs, board members, parents, pastors, assistant pastors, development directors, librarians, guidance counselors, and college and university education teachers and students.
The NPCD Convocation runs concurrently within the context of the NCEA convention. The Department of Religious Education at NCEA is the home of the National Association of Parish Catechetical Directors (NPCD). As a national association for parish catechetical leaders, NPCD supports members in their role of advancing the catechetical mission of the Church, and enhances the professional development of parish catechetical leaders.
In our attempt to make this a "Green Convention" we encourage you to register online. (Online registration is now closed, but you may register in person at the Anaheim Convention Center. The cost is $200/person for members, just $20 more than the regular registration fee.) You may also download the Registration Form if making a payment via check. (Please bring payments to Anaheim in person, and do not mail them.)
NOTE: In order to take advantage of the group registration rate, ALL the forms of planned attendees MUST be submitted together. No one may be added to the group list once the registration forms have been received.

The names of those registered before January 30, 2009 will be entered in a drawing to win four adult Disneyland one-day Park Hopper® tickets, a $100 American Express gift card, or an Apple iPod shuffle. The early registration date is March 5; save $20 off the individual member convention rate or $55 off the non-member rate by registering before that date.
All cancellation and refund requests MUST be made in writing, and received at NCEA by March 13, 2009. You will receive a refund minus a $50 processing fee. Please e-mail requests to
