IT'S ALWAYS SUMMER IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA!

NCEA is coming to sunny Anaheim, CA for the 2009 NCEA Convention & NPCD Convocation.  Enjoy phenomenal speakers and sessions, as well as the many exhibitors, who will have the latest in Catholic education and technology.
 
This year, our featured general session speakers are Cardinal Daniel N. DiNardo of Galveston-Houston, Bishop Gerald Kicanas of Tuscon, and Immaculee Ilibagiza, survivor of the genocide in Rwanda.  Please click here for more information about these dynamic speakers. 
 
There's alot waiting for you in Anaheim, so bring the entire family to the convention.  Let's take a glimpse at all the exciting things Anaheim has to offer. 
Hotel Accommodations

NCEA has worked with Travel Technology Group (TTG) to reserve sleeping rooms at special  group rates at many hotels in close proximity to the Anaheim Convention Center.  Housing will open on November 3, 2008 and ALL reservations must be made through TTG in order to receive the special rates.  You will not be able to access the special rate by directly contacting the hotel. 

Convention Registration

Registration opens on November 3, 2008.  Convention rates can be found here.  Be sure to register by March 5, 2009 to take advantage of the early-registration rates.  Also, please note that requests for refunds must be received to NCEA by March 13, 2009.  There will be no refunds issued after that date.

Graduate Credit

Graduate credits will be offered through the University of Dayton for attending the Anaheim convention.  Please visit the "Graduate Credit for Attendance" page for more information.

Transportation To/From Local Airports
 
With close accessibility to Anaheim and Orange County, please keep the following airports in mind when planning your flights to the convention:

John Wayne Orange County Airport (SNA)
Shuttle Services: $10 per person/one way
Taxi: $35 per car or van load/one way (rates are metered)

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
Shuttle Services: $15 per person/one way
Taxi: $90 per car or van load/one way

Long Beach Airport (LGB)
Shuttle Services: $28 - $33 for the first person (add $9 - $10 for each additional person/one way)
Taxi: $50 per car or van/one way (rates are metered)
