Wisdom & Witness Conference 2011 - A Few Openings Available - Register Today!

Register now for this summer gathering hosted by the University of Notre Dame

Participants at Wisdom & Witness 2007 gather for a group photoThe Secondary Schools Department of NCEA and the Institute for Church Life at the University of Notre Dame are partnering once again to bring you Wisdom & Witness 2011, the only national conference for religion teachers, campus ministers, service directors, and administrators in the Catholic high school. Come join the fun and fellowship June 27-29 at the University of Notre Dame, Indiana.

Nationally known speakers and workshops presented by those "in the field" combine to give you an extraordinary experience. Speakers are Rev. Ronald Rolheiser, OMI, president of the Oblate School of Theology in San Antonio; the Most Reverend George V. Murry, SJ, bishop of Youngstown; and Dr. Mary C. McDonald, secretary of education and superintendent of schools in Memphis. Workshops include

  • Developing Faith Skills and Practices: Essential Elements in Adolescent Catechesis
  • Ministry Loves Company: Transforming School Culture Through Peer Ministry
  • Visio Divina: A Prayer Practice for Encountering God
