Arlington, Va. - What a wonderful week it was! The annual NCEA Convention in New Orleans was a great success, with more than 8,000 people registering. More than 60 awards were given; more than 400 workshop sessions were held; two keynote speakers inspired attendees and the liturgies were uplifting and beautiful.
For the first time, convention-goers and others could follow the convention via the brand-new "NCEA Social Media Mashup" Web page. It is called "mashup" because it allows videos, photos, Twitter messages, stories and interactive blogs all on the same Web page. Visit it at http://events.ncea.org.
NCEA now has a presence on Flikr.com, a photo sharing Web site, and Twitter.com, a Web site allowing short messages to be send to smart phones.
