Arlington, Va. - As an added benefit of NCEA membership, this year members will be receiving a Catholic Schools Week Marketing Kit free of charge once membership dues are paid. This new benefit of membership is a $40 value (the price with shipping of last year's kit). The kit includes a marketing handbook, liturgy guide, poster and logos. Shipping is set to begin in September for paid members.
A key difference to the 2012 Kit is its format. In an effort to facilitate easier shipping, use of CSW materials within schools, and greater conservation of resources, the Marketing Kit will be presented exclusively on CD.
Additional copies of the kit will be available for purchase through the NCEA online store for non-members and those who want extra copies. Merchandise items, such as T-shirts, buttons and gift items will be available as usual from the Catholic Schools Week Website: http://catholicschoolsweek.ncea.org.
As part of the kit, the Marketing Handbook gives a day-by-day guide to planning Catholic Schools Week, with examples and stories from Catholic schools across the nation. It includes a section on how to market your school year-round to increase enrollment and community support. Quick facts about Catholic schools in the U.S. and tips to recruit volunteers make marketing your school easier.
The Liturgy Guide includes the opening and closing Sunday readings with homilies that incorporate the theme. The daily Mass readings are provided, along with alternate readings based on the theme. Also included are complete prayer services for each day of the week.
The Catholic Schools Week poster features the logo and theme and is great for posting in the school in a prominent place. (Extra posters can be ordered from http://catholicschoolsweek.ncea.org.)
The artwork which is included on the disc allows you to make ads, billboards and other items to promote your school all year long. The CD includes the logo in various formats, plus flyers to print yourself.
