Leave No Federal or State Dollars Behind: How to Maximize the Participation of Catholic School Students in Federal and State Educational Programs
Michelle Doyle Educational Consulting, Inc.
Reston, Virginia

Many federal benefits available to students and their teachers, administrators and parents are geared toward serving populations similar to those attending endangered Catholic urban and rural schools. Maximizing participation in these programs enable schools to access supplemental resources to improve students performance, teacher quality and additional services/materials that enhance the teaching and learning environment beyond what the school’s finances could supply.
This session will provide:
- useful information about available programs and ways to access them with greater effectiveness
- examples of creative ways in which schools and dioceses have implemented programs
- current school choice options that enhance access to Catholic school for students whose parents require financial assistance to afford the tuition
