NCEA Announces The 2018 Honorees Of The Lead. Learn. Proclaim. Awards
Outstanding leaders in Catholic education to be honored at the NCEA 2018 Convention & Expo in Cincinnati, OH.
Arlington, VA — The National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) announces 26 recipients of the 2018 Lead. Learn. Proclaim. Award. This award highlights the outstanding work being done in Catholic education communities across the country. A mix of individual leaders, principals, teachers, pastors and superintendents as well as boards and school groups comprise the cast of exceptional awardees entrusted with the faith formation of students in Catholic education communities.
"Dedication is the operative word when it comes to describing this year’s winners of the Lead. Learn. Proclaim. Award," remarked NCEA President/CEO Dr. Thomas Burnford. "Fulfilling the mission of faith-filled Catholic education is the responsibility of everyone involved with Catholic schools. Teachers, pastors, principals, superintendents, board members and diocesan leaders all display an unwavering dedication to Catholic education and these honorees serve as inspiration to all of us doing God’s work for Catholic schools."
NCEA will recognize the 26 awardees of the 2018 Lead. Learn. Proclaim. Award at a celebratory dinner on April 3 in Cincinnati. A complete list of all award recipients is available online.
NCEA’s 2018 Convention & Expo is the largest private-education association gathering in the nation. The annual convention draws thousands of members and participants working in Catholic school communities from around the country and the world. The convention is a forum to exchange ideas, hear about current research and data related to Catholic education and learn about new technology and resources.
