NCEA Extends Prayers of Strength and Hope to the Dioceses of Baton Rouge and Lafayette

Help Support Catholic Schools in the Flood-Damaged Communities

Friday, August 16, 2016

NCEA extends its sincerest thoughts and prayers to the Louisiana communities tragically impacted by the severe flooding. In particular, we are thinking of our Catholic schools in the dioceses of Baton Rouge and Lafayette. We pray that all teachers, students, families and friends are safe and that they may have strength and hope as they overcome their losses. For information on how to help support Catholic schools in Baton Rouge and Lafayette, Louisiana, please visit.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.
There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
(Psalm 46: 1-5)
