Hispanic Heritage Month Resources

Engaging in Celebrating Hispanic and Latino Heritage. Empowering Dreams. Inspiring Catholic Futures.

Hispanic Heritage Month (HHM) is a month-long celebration that recognizes the rich cultural heritage, contributions, and deep faith of Hispanic and Latino communities in the United States.

Observed each year from September 15 to October 15, HHM is an opportunity for Catholic schools to honor the diverse voices within their communities and celebrate how Catholic education helps students pursue their sueños—their dreams—with purpose and faith.

To help you celebrate HHM, NCEA has developed a special kit under the unifying theme: Sueños & Success. This resource offers schools ready-to-use and customizable tools to elevate Hispanic and Latino voices, foster cultural pride, and showcase the Church’s vibrant diversity. Inside the kit, you’ll find classroom activities, social media graphics, prayer resources, and ideas for school-wide celebrations that are rooted in Catholic identity.

Let’s make this Hispanic Heritage Month a meaningful celebration of dreams grounded in faith and Catholic education as the path to success. Use the kit in ways that best reflect your school’s community and share how you’re celebrating with NCEA and fellow schools using #HispanicHeritage2025.

Nuestros sueños nos definen. Nuestra fe nos impulsa.

Let the celebration begin!
